On Wednesday 16th December 2020, Prof. Mesut Idriz, Director of the Sharjah International Foundation for the History Arab and Muslim Sciences (SIFHAMS) paid an official courtesy visit to the newly inaugurated House of Wisdom (Bait al-Hikmah) of the Emirate of Sharjah. During the visit, Mr. Ali Al-Ammar Al-Shammari from the executives of the House of Wisdom welcomed Prof. Mesut. The meeting was held in initiating and strengthening joint cooperation between the two institutions and discussed future areas of cooperation to serve the objectives of the two institutions.
Prof. Mesut Idriz, Director of the Foundation, was taken on a tour of the various sections of the House of Wisdom and its facilities. During the course, he was briefed on the various services provided by the House of Wisdom in Sharjah for students, researchers and those interested in knowledge, science and cultural activities that it includes. Mr. Al-Shammari expressed willingness to have collaborations and benefit from the foundation's experiences.
