Prof.Mesut Idriz made an academic visit to India Arab Cultural Centre of Jamia Millia Islamia University. Faculties from various departments and centres attended the meeting and had fruitful academic discussions. Centre Director Prof. Mohammed Ayub Nadwi received the guest along with Dr Sabir Navas, Director, Academy of Excellence India. Prof .Abdul Majid Qazi, Head, Department of Arabic, Prof.Habibullah Khan, Prof. Fauzan Ahmed, Dr. Suhaib Alam, Dr Heifa Shakiri, Dr. Mahfoozur Rahman, Dr. Azmatullah attended from Department of Arabic. Dr. Nasir Raza Khan and Dr. Aftab Ahmed from the centre and Dr. Hemayun Akhtar Nazmi from Centre for West Asian studies also joined the meeting. For representing Academy of Excellence Farhan Anver, Research Fellow, JNU New Delhi and Muhammed Shiyad V.P,Dept of History, Hindu College, Delhi University participated in the meeting. Students from the centre and various other departments also attended and interacted with the guest. Prof. Ayub Nadwi agreed to proceed with the formalities of signing MoU between SIFHAMS and IACC and assured fruitful participation of the centre in the upcoming fourth Sharjah Graduate Winter School by SIFHAMS in January 2023.
