Dr Mesut Idriz visited Centre of Arabic and African Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Faculties from the centre attended the meeting and had fruitful academic discussions. Prof. Mazhar Asif, Dean, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies and Centre Chairperson Prof. Rizwanur Rahman hosted the meeting. Dr Sabir Navas, Director, Academy of Excellence , Prof. Mujeebur Rahman, Prof. Ubaidur Rahman, Dr Akhtar Alam, Dr Kurshid Imam, Dr Mohammed Ajmal, Dr Mohammed Akram Nawaz and Dr Zar Nigar participated in the meeting. For representing Academy of Excellence Farhan Anver, Research Fellow, JNU New Delhi  and Muhammed Shiyad V.P,(Dept of History, Hindu College, Delhi University) attended the meeting. The meeting put forward the importance of redrafting of curricula of history and social studies by including languages.
