Award Domains
The Awards Committee selects each year the award domains, drawing upon diversity in terms of topics and avoiding redundancy, with the aim of identifying distinguished and innovative experiences in the various fields related to the history of Arab and Muslim sciences. The award domains focus on issues and subjects serving to promote human knowledge in the various fields in which Arab and Muslim scientists played a pivotal role.

Award Categories
  • Category 1:  Lifetime Achievement Award – This award is granted to researchers who have enjoyed a course of distinguished and quality research in the history of Arab and Muslim sciences.
  • Category 2:  Research Productivity Award – This award is granted to the best researcher who has published extensively in approved fields through research publication outlets disseminating the history of Arab and Muslim sciences.
  • Category 3: Award for the Revitalization and Investigation of the Scientific Heritage of Arab and Muslim Scientists. This award is granted to institutions and scientists, presenting distinguished works on the investigation of high value manuscripts.
  • Category 4: Technology in the Service of Arab Islamic Scientific Heritage Award.  This award is granted for leading works that contribute scientific value in the service of Arab Islamic heritage in the field of technology.
  • Category 5: Student Research Award – This award is granted to graduate students whose studies at the master's and PhD levels serve the history of Arab and Muslim sciences and are distinct in originality and their contemporary nature.
